“December 17th, 1944. After surviving the Malmedy massacre, Private Tommy Stewart must make it back to the allied frontline in order to tell the story of what happened.”
A soldier's letter tells the story of Tommy, a young American soldier who survives the Malmedy massacre and must make his way back to the Allied front line not only for his survival, but also to tell the story of the horrific war crimes which happened that day. Tommy's story is one of survival and also one of friendship and loneliness. The film questions the very nature of war as a whole and what it can do to a person.
