Beyond the Skies(2022)

1935. Young Red Army soldier Hong Qichen receives his orders: destroy the enemy's ammunition depot within 48 hours. It is, in all likelihood, a death sentence. Gathering his wounded comrades through treacherous mountain terrain, he leads them against overwhelming odds — while confronting their anguished questioning of why they should give their lives at all, and watching as they fall, one by one.
