Four childhood friends from the countryside move to Cairo and share a small rooftop apartment. As they adjust to city life, each chases a different dream: Bibo wants to become a singer, Karim hopes to strike it rich through a promotional contest, Abu al-Naja tries to establish himself as a lawyer, and Juaidi struggles to make a success of his agricultural ambitions.
